Dateline, Dublin. Twenty-twelve

At the time of writing this, I am living in Dublin. I am a graduate of Computer Applications in DCU. I am employed in a call centre where I provide first point of contact customer support for a large software company's popular gaming platform. I am twenty-four years old and I am single. It has been fifteen months since I last blogged.

Starting this evening, I will rectify this. This blog will see updates again. Updates on my life, opinions on my media consumption and occasionally information on personal projects. Probably not on a daily basis, but I intend it to be semi-regular

Try to contain your excitement.

  1. If you signed the web-usage guidelines you're not allowed do that.

  2. Having read the guidelines before posting this, I can assure you that I am not breaching them.

Besides, I have no intention of blogging about the work I do for my anonymous employer. That would be boring.

  3. They must have changed the guidelines since I was there then. Back then they specified not talking about the company you work for, the contract you work for and none of the other contracts the company has nor any of those contract's competitors.

Needless to say they were told to shove it by most of the floor at the time.

  4. They still are.

From my interpretation, I can at most refer to them indirectly, as I have done here. I cannot, however, state my opinions on them.

  5. Hypothetically this could result in disciplinary action if you mention an airline, any game you play, taking a picture, talk about your ISP.... It's a poorly written document.
